ABOUT US

Beyond the Hall Door grew out of RTÉ’s popular TV series of the same name. After ten years on television, our core interior design team had built up a detailed and expert understanding of interiors, design solutions, furniture and materials. We had the contacts and knew how to source and make whatever people wanted to make their dream home a reality. We also realised how much we loved the process of transforming people’s environments, sometimes taking on the seemingly impossible, and we knew that we didn’t want to stop. So, since 2005, our team, led by Sinead Moore, has made this expertise available to commercial and private clients.

The Team: who we are, and what we do

Sinead Moore

Director of Design, Sinead Moore, is a passionate believer in the power of design to support, change and enhance the way we live. Opening up areas for light, creating cosy intimate space, and providing room for the family to gather and entertain friends, all have their own effects on our lives in the places that we call home.

Director of Design, Sinead Moore

Coming to public acclaim when transforming homes around Ireland as part of RTÉ Television’s highly successful Beyond the Hall Door series, Sinead now leads the Beyond the Hall Door team in creating spaces that fulfill the needs and dreams of private clients, as well as working on commercial projects including restaurant design and shop fitting.

With an ability to think big, but also seeing the transformative power of the small, Sinead believes that the best interior design comes from listening to what the client says about what they need, looking at how they currently live, and then creating a solution to surpass expectations. “The design process,” she says, “Must be informative and productive, but also fun and friendly – after all when you’re designing a home, you’re transforming lives!” Never a slave to fashion or trend, but aware of both, Sinead is adept at putting together beloved objects with new pieces, marrying elements in a seemingly effortless way. Through extensive travels and relationships with furniture designers in Ireland and across Europe, Sinead has access to stunning contemporary materials, furniture and fittings, but when she cannot find the exact thing you need, she designs it herself and then works with artisans and makers to create unique pieces for your home.

With 15 years of experience in the business, and working in spaces from Period homes to newer builds, Sinead is influenced by an eclectic mix of European style, design – both contemporary and classic, plus an added touch of glamour. Sinead’s designs quickly become the homes her clients always imagined they could have, but often never believed possible.
